Blue Star Museum

The Blue Star Museum program is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America. Each summer since 2010, Blue Star Museums have offered free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve.

Military members must show active Military ID for admission.

Field Trips and Tour Information

Thank you for considering the Pennsylvania National Fire Museum for your field trip. Tours are generally 60-90 minutes in length. To schedule, the museum requests at least two weeks notice so that we can have enough volunteer staff on hand. The group rate is $7.00 per person regardless of age and applies to all attendees. (Students, teachers, chaperones, etc.) We offers off-street parking and are handicapped accessible.

Photos may be taken by our guest and may be posted on social media spaces, but may not be published for profit under penalty of law.

Photography copyrights provide photographers the exclusive right to make copies of their work, prepare other works based on a copyrighted photograph, sell or distribute copies of the work or display the work publicly. Photographers with copyright protection can safely display their work in art galleries, for example, without the threat of someone copying the photograph. Photographers with copyrights can sell their copyrights along with their works to p Photographers can file criminal charges against copyright violators for illegally using their copyrighted works. Although criminal proceedings for copyright infringement do not result in restitution for the victim, aside from reimbursing legal fees, copyright violators can be required to pay up to $250,000 in fines to the court. In addition, violators of photo copyrights can face up to five years in prison, or up to ten years for each repeat offense.
